Introducing Mohsen

this is some of the work i've done recently for Basim magazine, the script is by Wael Sa'd , and illustration by me of course :)
this is the first sketch of the main character "Mohsen"

I thought I'd share some of my work since I've been busy and lazy putting anything online recently, this was for nona magazine in Egypt. Nazeef is a little boy obsessed by cleaning and he always invent some funny machines to help cleaning something but always mess it up even more..
I have more stuff to share, I will try to post them sooner than soon :)

note: storytelling goes from right to left here :)

anyway.. I am sorry about the long absence, so much is happening since I moved to Canada and we recently bought a house and just had internet connection not so long ago at all.
I will try to keep the blog updated as much as I can.

I am still alive

hello there..
I just wanted to confirm that i am still living.. I am sorry I was absent all that time.. just trying to organize myself in Canada since I moved here..
trying to get into the illustration business in Canada ..so wish me luck ;)

I'll try to keep in touch and update often..
here is some stuff :)

some disney princesses

my last job in egypt was a mural for a bookshop full of characters that children likes..the deadline was tight and i was able just to draw and ink them..didn't have the chance to color them..
i'll try to share a couple of characters before i leave :D
for now..those are some quick sketches i did between tasks ..
i was lazy to scan them all..just picked the disney princesses thing..
for me jasmine is the hardest to draw for some reason..a little mistake and she's not pretty anymore
